Past Classes

Joelle Mellon, author of  The Virgin Mary in the Perceptions of Women.  Joelle Mellon will be speaking 0n Saturday, March 13 at 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Ms Mellon identifies as pagan -- more specifically, as a Dianic and Celtic Wiccan, also interested in the idea of God with a female face. 

In the presentation,  Joelle Mellon will trace the evolution of this idea from the ancient world with goddesses such as Isis, Cybele & Diana to the medieval & Renaissance eras, where the Divine Feminine was represented by female saints --  especially and above all -- the Virgin Mary.  Ms. Mellon will end with theories about contemporary women and the idea of a female God, exploring postmodern women's rejection of Mary and the current fascination with Dan Brown's Mary Magdalene.

Moon Rite Temple will begin Basic Wicca class on February 21st. The class will meet for seven consecutive Sundays. Class will be from 4 to 6 PM. This a FREE workshop.

Messages From the Masters, presented by Joanne Bracken will be rescheduled. Join Joanne for a night of messages form her angels and ascended masters. Please come with questions for Joanne. These is a fee of $20.00 for this evening.
